Why is my iPhone 6 using so much data?

How have I went from using 6GB to 20GB since I've got the iPhone 6?

You might want to check the settings in the 'Verizon cloud' app and make sure the automatic back-up/sync option over cellular is un-checked. You only want sync over 'wi-fi' box checked, otherwise it will continuously back-up using your cellular data and eat through it no time.

You might also check wifi assist and see that it is turned OFF.  It will switch to cellular data if that signal is stronger than your wifi.
