Hi, I'm looking at getting a new iPhone 6 with Verizon. What are the cheapest options for a data plan with unlimited voice and messaging?
I was wondering if it is better to do the monthly payments, 2-year contract, or to just buy the phone with no contract and find a plan from there. I am a college student looking for the most cost-effective option.

What you need to do id either buy your phone outright at full cost, or pay half up front and then pay the other half monthly with Verizon Edge. If you buy your phone full cost the line access is only $15.00, so you would be looking at $15 + $70.00 for the 6GB plan. Of you can get a $45 1GB plan. All the new plans come with unlimited talk and text.
