I heard on the Today program this morning that Verizon is discontinuting its service for the I-Phone 6 sometime in December of this year. People will need to get an I-Phone better than a 6. Is that true, or has anybody heard of that before? Thanks for your help, Chris.

We want to make sure our customers are prepared for the changes that will occur with our network. Here is a link with information on our CDMA network retirement https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-218813/
I don't show the iPhone 6 is being retired in December.

It's the iPhone's older than the 6.
