I mistakenly manually entered my home wi fi network name. My phone states I have the wrong password for this network address, but I know for a fact it is correct.  Is there a way to totally delete what I entered manually and let my phone search for the wifi on it's own

After speaking with friends, sounds like a password issue. How do I reset a wifi password on my phone?

GO to settings. 

Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings

Settings > Wi-Fi > there's a blue "i" in a circle next to the Wi-Fi network names.

Tap on the blue "i' next to the network whose password you want to reset.

Scroll to the bottom > Select "Forget This Network"
