white boxes on the top and bottom of screen.

these white boxes appeared the other day and have made it impossible to use the phone.  when i go into a text message it will type letters for me and wont allow me to delete.  Everything on the phone seems to be glitchy now.

Try this, hold down the large Button in the center and the power button on the right hand side together, wait while still holding down for the Apple Logo to appear then let go.

It will refresh its self with no loss of apps or settings.

thanks for the tip but still no luck.  Looks like I will be onto Iphone 5 number 4.  Love apple

Oh my, polo3989. It does seem like quite a bit going on. Thanks for doing the steps that Elector recommended. Did you try to reset the phone?
