But they're not complying... thats the whole point.

when you 'comply' you have to comply with everything - even if they are older plans, as long as you offer them to NEW customers.

they can't pick n choose compliance plans.

Oh please keep us informed on what corporate says. I know what they will say. I just want to see you post some whiny posts when they don't agree with you. Think LOGICALLY, if Verizon wanted to give free tethering to the old plans wouldn't they be doing it already?

Now who is the one that can't read? I clearly posted the agreement between Verizon and the FCC. Quit trying to make 2+2=5 just because you want it to be.

Yes, see at&t was forced to offer facetime over cellular after a threat of lawsuit. (just a week ago). They were adamant before, saying they will not offer it unless you have their higher priced plans.

I mean, what part of net neutrality do they not get? my data is 2gb- your compliance to rules is to allow me to use it as i want.

you didnt' post anything new. and you didnt' read clearly. They cannot block tethering apps simple, whether 1st or 3rd party.

No because till recently they were not required to. The key is in 'required'.

That was different because they were forcing people off contracts they had already agreed to. Apples and oranges.

nopes. even for people with keeping older contracts, they were being blocked. read carefully. nothing to do with forcing people off contracts - that was a separate issue.

apples and apples my friend.

enjoy NOT having tethering. Personally if I really wanted tethering I'd quit beating my head against a wall. Apparently you like it.
