I just got a 5s 32 gb and for 2 nightsit's been saying updating to the newer ios with one minute remaining

You have to plug it into your pc or mac and start itunes then restore the iphone to its original ios witch would probably be iOS 7.0.4, ifyou do not have a back up, you need to find a blank iphone iOS 7.0.4 from a 3rd party site then click restore and choose the iOS then wait for the downloaded backup to restore the iphone. Then once it is finished it will be as if you just boought it, so hopefully you backed it up before this occurance.
