I just bought an iPhone 5 and tried to connect it to my MacBook Pro to sync my iTunes. But when connecting it I get the message, "The iPhone “iPhone” cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.7 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes."
My Mac Book has the latest version of iTunes and when looking on itunes.com it seems as if the download is for my computer. What am I doing wrong?

What version of iTunes is loaded on your computer? I think I heard iTunes is at version 11+ or something similar.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I made sure to update to the 11.0.1 last night when I encountered these problems.

You should ensure to have "Sync music with iTunes" and "Entire music library" options ticked from the Music tab when you enter your device settings within iTunes.
