Hello!
Just arrived in Mexico, will stay for several weeks and just bough a local chip for the iPhone 5s however when I inserted the chip I received a warning the carrier is not supported. I thought all iPhone 5s from Verizon were unlocked by default? Does anyone have experience with using a Verizon phone abroad with a foreign chip?
Thx

shoegal,
I hope you are having a great time in Mexico! The iPhone 5S is a globally unlocked device. You should be able to swap out the SIM card and insert the global SIM with no problem. For any concerns regarding a international services please reach out to our global department http://vz.to/1eyPfPp
