I am about to upgrade from a samsung alias 2 to an iPhone 5 and want to transfer voicemails and locked text messages over. I have copied my pictures and contacts onto an sd card and saved it onto my computer. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this?

Since the iPhone uses a different voicemail system you will lose those unless there's an app for it.
You can try bitpim to get your text messages off the old phone, but I don't know if they will transfer to the iphone. Verizon has a company that you can contact to transfer you voicemail messages to CD. There is a charge for the service though.
