Mine says order recieved, it is in process. Another one says deliver by 9/21/12 | and then another confirmation says ships by 9/21/12!

So since it says in process does this mean I'll receive a tracker pretty soon?

Well, now I have 2 pending authorizations on my credit card from Verizon, one on 9/14 and another one from today (9/18). I wonder if I'm going to get my phone on Friday after all... I hope so. I stayed up late to order it. I'm also moving and will be at a different address on 10/5, when my phone is expected to ship.

Well, I just confirmed that my credit card was charged. I was charged today, so I'm assuming a mailing label has been generated. Now I'm just waiting for the shipping email. I'm in LA by the way.

There is rumor that Apple has told shipping facilities to hold all deliveries to the 21st. they might have accidentally put it on a truck then realized their mistake. why cant they just let us have it early.....

Notice for everyone

Alright, so I just found out information after caling UPS multiple times. Basically UPS has an agreement with Apple not to deliever any iPhone shipments before 9/21. It doesn't matter if your iPhone has shipped woth standard shipping or Next Day Air you will get it on  9/21 not before. Currently iPhone shipments are being placed in stragic locations. The most popular one is UPS Worldport in Louisville, KY. You may not have seen a scan for Louisville but iPhone shipments from Addison,IL are en route to Louisvlle, KY and will be held there most likely for a day then make there way to local hubs. You probably haven't seen the scan for Louisville because they didn't scan it. They probably have the iPhone shipments in a tractor waiting.

Thanks for that info. It probably means that some of us who will receive our phones on Friday might not get notification on shipping until tomorrow or even Friday as they unload trucks.

I guess I don't understand. When I called customer service they said it was a first come first serve and I ordered 4:30 am EST got my confirmation but nothing more. It still says "we've received your order and it is in process." I would have thought I would get a shipping confirmation as well by now. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for you! 😉

Ordered around three pm EST so I was put in the 9/28 batch, although it said by 9/28 so I'm hoping for the best.. Why am I even posting?
