New 5S and I have noticed this about the slider buttons used for turning features on or off.
You can easily slide them to the on position and they turn green, but they do not really respond well to sliding them to the off position. However, if you simply tap them, they turn on and off easily.
So the question is, are they really met to be sliders, or just met to be tapped to create the sliding action?

Thanks for the reply. And tapping on the green area when the slider is on appears to be the most reliable response. Unfortunately tech support did not know how they work and could offer no advice......
