How hard will it be to get an iPhone 5

If the iPhone is announced as expected and it comes out in a few weeks, how hard will it be to get one? I am eligible for an upgrade 10/26.

 

Is there usually a way to pre-order if you plan is close to being up for renewal?

Unfortunately, impossible.  :smileysad:

 

I'm in the same boat. I think I'll still go with the iPhone4S, though. Hopefully, it won't be too difficult to get ahold of one.

Officially, the iPhone5 will not be released in a few weeks. It will not be released in 2011. It will not be released in the first quarter of 2012. Keep your shorts on, look for the last quarter of 2012, maybe the first quarter 2013.  This are annual things, to keep people buying  new contracts so business goes on and on even in the Greatest Depression recorded in history.  People will spend their money if we just keep to the plan, release on a schedule, release in small portions, release valuable additions that work.
