Can not connect to sever with gmail

A pop up message keeps appearing that I can not connect to server to retrieve email.  How can I fix it???

Rjlofink, I can understand how this can be frustrating. The best way to resovle this error is to delete your account and readd it. Follow the steps here to resolve: http://vz.to/199SW90
