I currently have several unused upgrades on my Verizon account, I’m going to be buying an iphone 5 at an apple store on launch day. I’ve never purchased from any store other than a Verizon store before. I was just wondering if I might encounter any difficulties upgrading my phone at their store, I realize I'll no longer have my unlimited data grandfathered over. I was just wondering if anyone knows how the process works at the Apple store if I'm eligible for an upgrade.

You will not encounter any issues. Just make sure that your bill is up to date prior to going into the store.
Do you mean I should pay off any balance on my account even if it is mid billing cycle?
No, you just want to make sure that you don't have a past due bill.
