Wonder who pays $2.99 for a day's use! (and it's rude to say "A iphone 5 user who is lost"!) 2 or 3 plan iterations ago, I recall there was a connect/select/premium family of plans, and the last included Navigator as part of the monthly charge. May be people migrating from that like it and pay $4.99 per month.

Hi B33,
Even though you are not a heavy user, if you are ever in need the VZ Navigator application will get you where you need to be. VZ Navigator transforms your Verizon device into a navigation device. It allows customers to get visual and audible directions to a destination, locate businesses and other places in an area, get a map of a location, bookmark favorites and recent searches, and even share locations with others.
VZ Navigator is available in monthly, one week, or one day subscriptions and we currently have a 1 month free promotion. For more info please feel free to check out the link provided below.
