iPhone 4 won't switch to landscape view

Just got this phone a couple months ago, working OK until yesterday when it won't turn to view keypad in landscape mode...only portrait.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, tried that, doesn't help....I don't see a multi-tasking bar

What do you see when you double-tap the home button?  Are you doing two quick taps or are you pausing between the taps?

Let's get this resolved KRetz! Once you press your menu button twice quickly you will see your recently used applications at the bottom of the screen. Drag the screen to the right and look for the the Portrait Orientation Symbol and ensure the lock icon is not preset. You can remove the lock icon by tapping the Orientation Symbol.
