Why are some messages green and others blue?

when i message everyone in my contacts they send as green and when i send a message to my fiances phone that is on the same account why are they blue?

That is a very great question morningstarsangels and we have all of the answers you need regarding your messaging. With the iPhone you have iMessage and when you send a message to another iPhone user, the conversation will show as blue. As long as the message is blue it means that the texts you are sending and receiving are not counted towards your Verizon wireless message plan. If the message is green it means that means that it is being sent as a regular SMS message and not as an iMessage.
