Verizon will not give me a courtesy iPhone upgrade

The Droid2 Global phone will work in Europe. It has both CDMA and GSM radios.

yeah, the Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro are currently the only Android phones on verizon that offer support for gsm networks and a sim card.   There are rumors that the refresh for the Incredible coming this year will also be a world phone.

the iphone has the chip, but not the antenna or software
