My wife loves her new iPhone 4s. She loves Verizon cellular service. Unfortunately, I'm taking her phone back because a customer service rep named Jesse and his boss, Collin were incredibly rude to me on the phone today. I called for a small bill dispute. Jesse rudely refused to help me. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he thanked me for "being the best part of Verizon". So then Collin gets on the phone, and he's ruder than Jesse was! That's the last straw for us. We can get the same phone from another carrier, and that's what we're going to do. So long, Verizon.
Good for you! Really, I hope that I can find another carrier once my contract is up who has more polite customer service and better options that won't charge me an arm and a leg for practically nothing. I hope you find something worthwhile out there because Verizon certainly doesn't seem to be worth much these days!
That's too bad. I personally have never had a problem or bad experience with Verizon's customer service. Perhaps try calling again and maybe you'll get someone who is willing to help you with your situation or explain what happened at the Verizon store when you go in to return the 4s. Remember it's you that keep Verizon in business. Just my 2 cents.

I definitely agree with you about that. Verizon Wireless has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I called the customer service 800 number this morning, twice, and both times was met with rude, blunt, and non-helpful representatives. I can't believe the way they act, any other company that you give money to usually cares to keep their customers, but my experience today showed anything but that. Sorry for yours, I assume here soon a lot of people will be going to other providers.
DionM_VZW, speaking just for myself I would like to say thanks for jumping in and showing a willingness to help. I guess my only additional comments here would be that as a consumer and as a long standing Verizon customer of many of your services, I would say that your customer service has been one of the criteria that separates you from other carriers.
Unfortunately, as of late, that service has been slipping and slipping noticeably. Very rarely do *we* get issues addressed or even taken seriously on or during the first call. Often times we are forced to "ask for a supervisor" just to get someone on the phone who appears to be listening or even come to a forum to complain and look for sympathy!
Anyway, thanks again for showing one of us your willingness to help and I hope to see things improve in the area of service!
Another Verizon employee direct messaged me already. I sent him/her my phone number. I do appreciate your willingness to help. I assure you, if this situation is handled correctly and professionally, I will post a positive reply to let you know the outcome.
I have never had a rude customer service rep myself but not true for my friend on AT&T so she moved from there to verizon for the Iphone and finds customer service much better so you gotta do what ever works best for you and what carrier you are happy with. You don't say what the bill dispute was so we have only heard one side of the story too. Mary
