Switching lines on my old 4S

I'm getting an iPhone 5 tomorrow and I want to give my wife my 4S. After I activate the 5 on my line, how do I go about switching the 4S to her line?

*611,  They will do it for you or when you call to activate your 5 have them switch it.

I don't recall having to call to activate my 4S.  But I will call to have them switch it once I activate my 5. Was hoping I could do it myself. I imagine they're going to be swamped with phone calls today.

Just dial *288 from the phone and enter her phone number and it'll switch over automatically.
