Glad we were able to figure out the issue. I had never used the restrictions before since I don't tend to let others use my phone so it never occurred to me that the setting may be the issue. I also wasn't aware that turning the app off in restrictions removed the app (just assumed it required a passcode to access it) so I learned something new after owning an iPhone for over a year (originally had the 4 but had to replace it with the 4s after an accident...but for the most part it's the same phone lol).
Yay, I have my ringtone! It downloaded and synched, I was able to edit the extension, and I was able to go through your instructions finally and all worked this time.
