Will there be more touch screen phones coming out that are just "feature phones" with no data package required? The Cosmos Touch looks nice but the only thing that seems to be missing is video capability. I have the LG enV but want to get a touch screen phone with all the same features.

Hello metallikidd,
At this moment there is no release information about any future feature phones. You can always check verizonwireless.com for any updates. Thank you.

I have the iPhone 4 working with my 150mb plan.

I'm assuming you already have this pan. If not, then you are SOL.

That picture's a perfect example of why Verizon went to unlimited plans in the first place
I don't like all this talk of tiered data plans going on.

I agree but I need tiered(cheap prcing) so I can have a smartphone. I don't like the new data plans at ALL. I thought they would've made a data plan for less than $30 but that's what you get.

sort of.....it's not really "working" with a 150mb plan if you go over it. this is precisely why they require $30 plans now. they tried the $15 promo plans over the holidays and everyone goes over them and then complains about the overage fees. particularly, parents that get their kids smartphones and then get the bill!!!! they thought they were adding $15/mo to the bill, until they got the bill and their kid used 1-2gigs (or more). tiered pricing is fair. bandwidth is limited and eventually prices have to go up so why should those of us that never use more than 2 gigs pay the same as those that use 5-10 gigs? about 10% of users use 80% of the data. let the ones consuming most of it pay for it.

What are your overage charges like?
I can't imagine using such little data a month. I'm scared for the tiered data users

most will be fine. you'd be surprised at how few customers use more than 2 gigs. most of us don't go near 2 gigs. sure, if you are streaming music and video daily, you will hit that. just for fun, you can go HERE and play with a calculator to estimate what you would use. notice how much it goes up when you add a little bit of streaming video daily.
edit: that may be a broken link. try this:

Cant be sure but I have only gone over 2 times out of 6 cycles. My family might switch over to ATT because I'm not thrilled that there is no plan for under $30. I hope they are just keeping the cheaper data plan secret or that the family data plans are a good deal.
