So most of us will be getting our phones tomorrow, some of us will receive them today (SO jealous, iDroid!). Now that the waiting and stressing on when it will come is almost (finally) over, it's time to look on to bigger and better things. For those of you that already have iPhone experience, what are some apps that you recommend as must haves, or even just neat time waster ones? Since I got my shipment confirmation, all I've been thinking about are what apps I should get, and I know there are so many that everyone is going to have their own opinions.

The new Facebook app is really awesome, but I assume if you have Facebook you'll automatically get that. I have an app called Camera+ that is much better than the iOS 4 camera app, but I'm hoping 5 changes that. If you like Sports, MLB At Bat Lite is an awesome app, if you're a huge baseball fan, you may even want to pay for it, but not until next season of course. Starbucks has an app called Starbucks Mobile Card you can use to pay for your coffee or w/e at most Starbucks. The XE app is good for currency conversion if you like to travel. There's also an app called Weird Laws that well has weird state laws, that I like to peruse for a good laugh. I mean, many of these may already be available on Android, so I apologize if you already knew about them. The last thing I would say is you'll find pretty much every major bank and credit card company on there to manage your finances. Hope this helps!

And almost forgot, but if you like Scrabble or Hangman, check out Words with Friends and Hanging with Friends, I think they just got released (finally) for Android, so you may know about them. I think the apps work cross-platform as you can start a game on the phone and pick it up on Facebook independent of your OS.

Wow...this is a difficult question lol. For great time killers there are a ton of free and cheap game apps that come in handy when you're stuck somewhere with nothing to do. The cult classic Angry Birds line (Original and Angry Birds Rio) are two of my faves although I have a ton of gaming apps...mostly word and card games. If you're heavy into social media (like FaceBook and Twitter among others) using a social media app that allows you to manage most of your accounts within one app is a must. I use HootSuite and enjoy it (there are several out there, but for a free one it's one of the best ones I've come across). I'm a major sports fan so I made sure to get the NFL Mobile app (unfortunately, the free live streaming of NFL Network and RedZone have been disabled and require a $10/month subscription to Verizon's video service...unless you have a 4G phone apparently), ESPN, and Fox Sports apps. For music streaming I use Pandora and iHeartRadio. HBO2Go is another fave I tend to get more of the free apps over the paid apps since I rely less on my iPhone for essential tasks, plus I like to make sure I am getting what I really expect before I pay for the more expensive options (and yes, some of the apps get pretty pricey). The plus side is that there are a wealth of apps to browse through....which is also the downside...sometimes it feels like you are weeding through a ton of crap ones before you find some true gems.

This is probably the most subjective thread I have seen in a while. There are 500,000 + apps available and we all have different interests, etc. In iTunes App Store there is a link to iPhone essential apps. It is a pretty good list of apps.
Some of my favorites include:
Solitaire by Mobility Ware
HBO GO
Documents to GO
IMDB
Remote
TuneIn Radio
Airport Mania 1 & 2
Angry Birds
DirecTV
Flight Control
Four Square
Music ID
NFL Mobile
Nightstand Central
OnStar
Pocket Express News
Scrabble
Tetris
Tip Calculator
Urbanspoon
The Weather Channel
