I'd like to save/export texts I received on my iPhone 4s before upgrading to a new phone. Can't do it through iCloud. Verizon cloud will only capture the last 90 days. (I received many texts during a serious illness and I want to keep the messages).
If there is an app, please let me know!
Thanks!

I back up via iTunes and all of my text and voicemails are saved and moved when I switched to a new device...and I've had the iP4, 5, and now 6+.

If I want to save something I just do a screenshot by pressing the sleep wake button and home button at the same time. The photo then shows up in the camera roll photos. You can print it out or email it to yourself. I use this to capture power point slides in a webinar.
