I have had my iPhone for a couple of months now and never had this problem before.. I can connect to wifi and go on the Internet but when I'm not connected to a wifi network and it is on 3G it wont load any Internet pages, receive emails, voice mails, or use any app's that require Internet. I checked to make sure that 3G was connected. I have tried resetting the network setting but that didn't seem to work. I'm very frustrated and have no idea what to do. I will take it to Verizon in a couple of days if it still doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem??

that's not fixing the current problem.
And yes there are plenty having the same issue on the florida panhandle.

thanks for the replies you guys nice to know that i'm not the only one with this problem and i tried the *228 solution but it didnt help so i think i'll go to verizon and see what they say.

i'm trying to call from mexico to the u.s. but there is no sound, no response. is the most recent update causing a problem for anyone else from mx to u.s.?

What do you have configured for the following settings?
Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data > "ON"
Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data > Roaming > Data Roaming > "OFF"
