Can you locate it with find my iPhone? If so, you can remotely wipe with that. Otherwise, you can't.

to locate with find my iphone, either download the find my iphone app from your new phone, or you can visit icloud.com with any web browser, and sign in with the apple id associated with that device. There is an option for remote wipe.
