How can I copy text messages to my computer? I want to keep a record of about 100 of them.
You can back them up to iCloud so you and put them on another phone or something whenever. It works very well.
Also You can take a screen shot which takes whatever is on the screen and it will take a picture of it. So if you press power and home then release it will take a picture of the text or what's on the screen and then transfer the picture with the text on it. You have to do a quick release for it to take the picture and. It will think your trying to reboot or power down. After the pic is taken it will be in the photos like all the others. I learned that trick yesterday maybe it might be old to others. When I was getting a weird message yesterday apple told me to do that if I needed to keep a picture of what I see to prove whats going on because if they can see it there less to help me also it will do what you need down too. The screen goes Alittle white for a second don't worry.
You can the transfer them to the computer by useing your USB cord then it will give you an option to see the file etc. after you see the file then drag the file to the desktop to keep all the pictures together.
