What would be the proper way to cancel (not return) my preorder? Do I just have to call Verizon?

Ehhhh financial issues. My work is buying me a new smartphone and told me to go ahead with the iPhone. When I checked my email this morning they said the one I ordered is a little out of their price range... =/
I may end up ordering the 16GB instead and paying the difference. I'm not eligible for an upgrade so I have to pay full price.

Booo! that stinks! Hopefully they'll reconsider soon or you'll get a windfall allowing you to pay retail for it! Stinks to get your hopes up only to be torn down. Good luck!

This discussion is also from a year ago and things might have changed since the original post.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
