Hello reyther. I know it's imperative to have service as soon as possible. Due to the extended network in Alska, activation would not be possible.Your phone would need to be reprogrammed on the Verizon Wireless network. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Hey reyther,

Try this link http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/49074/

When you get the Set Up option then select Next.

  • Set Up as New iPhone
  • Restore from iCloud Backup
  • Restore from iTunes Backup.

skip this step initially then you can restore your new 4S from your last saved iphone 4 setting.
