It doesn't make sense that apple doesn't offer this service on their devices and vzw can't offer it?
I'm confused by your logic
It is out of the scope of VZW at this point, contact apple.

Call blocking is not available on the iPhone 4. There is no information available if call blocking will become available on the iPhone in the future.
Thanks

If you read the info on AT&T's site it appears that even on their iPhone you can't use a lot of the controls people here are complaining about....so it's apparently an Apple "issue". Not sure if it exactly applies to blocking calls also, but apparently there is an issue with blocking something and it applies to all iPhone software versions. Maybe someone that had an iPhone 4 with AT&T and actually had (or tried to have) the feature can clarify...
Limitations for iPhone Customers:
- Web Browsing Limits and Time of Day Restrictions will not block or restrict data usage while a user is in Wi-Fi mode or using iPhone 3.0 software
- The AT&T Content Filters feature will not filter content on iPhone. This limitation applies to all iPhone software versions.

I don't see why the Verizon can't do call blocking for the iPhone.
It shouldn't have anything to do with hardware or software, or should it?

Doesn't this have to do with calls that are routed to your phone number and nothing to do with features built in to the phone itself?Just like Voicemail and other services.

It shouldn't matter, but Apple really does some weird things with their devices. I wonder if their is a specific number they do NOT want blocked so blocking is disabled...who knows.

Verizon really needs to provide a better answer to this issue. They also need tot let people know of this limitation up front. Had I known about this earlier I never would have let my daughter get an iPhone. Being able to block unwanted and harrassing calls is almost a necessity for a teenage girl. And of course the 14 day return windows has passed. Thanks Verizon.

How can this be a solution? You just don't do it? Are you going to add an app for free for Verizon customers?
