Why can't Verizon customer service agents accept a payment over the phone. I will not use a machine to make a payment "no way". I have less than one year left on my contract then by by. I went to the Burton, Mi. Verizon office to make a payment as I got out of my car in plain view of the store a person came around the counter and locked the door. I called him an{word filter avoidance}
got back into my car and looked at the time 8:58Pm. The store closes at 9:00 Pm. The next day I went to the non Verizon office in Davison, Mi and paided the bill with no charge. While I was at the Davison office I told them about the problem with the Burton office, and I wanted to talk to the district manager for Verizon. The Davison store took my message and phone number and would forward it to the district manager. After 5 months I don't think the district manager cares. (sick) to talk to me. Last month I went into the Burton, MI office to get #2 droid replacement phone, The office now has a security guard, I know why. Also the office in Lapeer, Mi. A non Verizon office charges $3.00 to pay a bill. What do you think?? at&t

You can if you call I think #PMT. Or even *611 there has to be an option. But calling a store, the reps make money selling, not taking money.

I don't understand exactly why you don't want to use the machine, but I have used it and by the time I am walking out of the store I get notified that my payment has been received. I now use bill pay from my bank and it is just a click of a mouse button now.
