Any way to have a plan under $100?!

I really dislike Verizon's limited plan choices for smartphones.  Even the cheapest one will still cost you 100 bucks a month after taxes.  My data needs are not super huge, but I do use my iphone for work e-mail and use work-related apps, so I can't just downgrade.

I my switch to a cheaper company soon if I can't adjust the bill to be something more reasonable in the 60-80 dollar range.

Have you looked into your employer paying for the use of your phone for work?

We thank you for visiting our page, timeandmotion. Although we don't have a plan to suit that price range on post pay, we encourage employee discounts http://bit.ly/RV0IGQ to help save money. We also have prepay service http://bit.ly/ST0Do3 that may benefit you more.

Verizon does offer pre-paid plans for $60/month for a smartphone with unlimited talk/text and 2gb of data. It only allows 3G speeds so if you have the iPhone 5 you won't be able to use the 4G LTE network. That sounds like your best bet though. If your in a contract however you would be liable for the ETF if you switched to the pre-paid plan. Anyways, hope that helps.

These prepaid plans work only with 3G only devices. The iPhone 5 or any other 4G LTE smartphone can't be activated on the prepaid smartphone plans. The iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 are compatible with the prepaid smartphone plans offered by Verizon Wireless.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
