4 Month Early Upgrade?

I currently have the LG Ally and I already replaced it about 3-4 times and going to replace it again...anyway, the "My Verizon" app on android says "Yes, you are eligible based on your current plan". When I called 2 days ago they said I can upgrade in August. So am I able to get a 4 month early upgrade? I wanna upgrade to the iPhone 4S. I don't mind renewing my 2 year contract and paying an extra $15 for the 2GB Data package.

You get the upgrade 4 months before the end of the contract and the new 2yr contract would start when purchased. It's not really early I guess since it always has been that way but now when you upgrade after April 22 there will be a fee unlike before the fee was when you did an annual upgrade. I asked yesterday an they said if everyone else can do it Verizon can too.
