So I had been using Google Maps on my iPhone but since the switch to this 8x I can no longer do that effectively. Maps the app sucks simply because it does not have turn by turn directions unless you pay for it (I didn't have to do that with my iPhone). AND, if I have any other map app other than Nokia Here Drive on the phone, Maps doesn't recognize it's there (if you try to "drive" to an address it tells you do download an app, even if one is installed on your phone). Is this user error or simply Verizon locking everything out and wanting you to pay for VZW Navigator??
Any help/info is appreciated. I'm really questioning my move to the WinPhone 8x.
