I lost my unlimited data plan with my current upgrade from an Android 2 to an Windows HTC 8x phone, and know I'm noticing I have to pay mega bucks to stream videos and use apps. I currently pay for 6GB, because I went over 4GB last month, but, I'm not sure if that's enough. What's the standard usage for streaming video and app usage? I've used the data calculator and it says I need 16GB...? Is that right??? Any suggestions???
If you regularly stream videos (especially HD videos) yes, you will use that much data. My only suggestion is to limit your streaming to WiFi only.
