I know a lot of us are waiting on Windows 10 devices before we do anything else. One of the major complaints about Verizon has been their glacial pace for allowing customers to access updates (even though the other carriers have had the same updates for quite a while.) Thankfully, Microsoft has heard our cry for help and announced that updates will come directly from them instead. The bad news is that if you want to keep your current Windows 8.1 device and upgrade it to Windows 10, you'll have to wait for Verizon.

Why wait? Become a Windows Insider when Windows Phone 10 RTM is released by MS.
I am on it now, while there are a lot of bugs still, it is usable,
but I would not recommend people install it just yet on any device.
Later when it's more polished, I absolutely will recommend not waiting for Verizon.
WP10 is sweet otherwise. But not yet ready for a primary device. so wait for now.
