Sales on Verizon and others are very low...low...low...

Sorry, taking a chat transcript from a sales representative isn't gospel from VZW.  It's the sales persons point of view and it's in his best interest and incentive to sell an iPhone.  You yourself said not to trust anything from a sales person; flip-flopping?

Please links to specific facts that sales on any of the carriers are low.  Otherwise it's hearsay.

It is the number given to me by the Verizon Tech Support manager.  Ask him for the proof, not me.

Thousands is not limited to just Windows Phone users.  I'm referring to all Non-Apple users whose updates are delayed by Verizon.  Windows Phone, Android, etc.  Tell me there aren't that many customers wanting their updates and I'll be the one calling you a liar.

I guess HTC and Motorola is out of the question.  They are transparent and they tell you exactly when the carrier has it and so far from Verizon when it hits the carrier actual hands it's roughly 1 month at the longest for them.  So how can HTC and Motorola pressure Verizon that well and Nokia can't?  Their sales numbers aren't all that peachy either.

Just saying...

This is not from a sales person. It is from a writer for a magazine talking to a sales person(s).

I never flip flop. When I say don't take the word of any sales man that is exactly what I mean.

The writer is showing why Windows Phones don't sell well on carriers. I have no reason to doubt him.

And the sales figures I have been looking for a clear cut set of them now for over two hours or more. I have a huge headache.

If I find it I will post it.(Found something)

Just looking at those figures and one by Microsoft's WP Central shows a decline. There are not that many Windows phones being used on Verizon or any carrier. Its a given. Android and iOS dominate the market share.

But you are the one who made the claim. Burden of proof is on you. Not me to ask him.

The majority of users are on DP. But there are features of Cyan that are removed from the DP; Bluetooth 4.0 for example. Why I enjoy DP, I need the official update to Cyan to get every feature available.

Nokia/MS isn't done. How is Verizon delaying something when the manufacturers are still working on updates to Cyan?

Proof right there the MS employee specifically states they are releasing updates to Cyan DP.

Pretty sure that complaint should go on its own thread since this one is specific to the question of "When will Cortana and Windows Phone 8.1 be available for the Nokia Lumia Icon?"

Maybe you can band all the hundreds of thousands of Verizon users of "Windows Phone, Android, etc." together and get them to start complaining in unison to prove you're not a liar.

This is only for 8.1 Developer Preview users whose carriers have already released Cyan. No help to us.
