I'd rather read news from neutral publications over ones that are fan based. For example I don't pay much attention to Android Authority or Android Police, as much as Cult of Mac, and Windows Central. They are all the same to mean.

Not much to read about as it pertains to Win phones anymore.

I like the platform, but I just don't like following fan pages.  They are always biased towards the brand which honestly never gives a fair review on things.

I don't know- win10 mobile is becoming pretty solid, I'm on build 10586.164 and its great- syncing to my computer works effortlessly and flawlessly with many new features, no lag or resuming issues lately either- also, UWA seems to be taking off as IOS apps are being ported over-- I bought a nexus 6p my first android ever, besides all the apps available, I can't for the life of me see why android is so popular. atleast on my WP I can delete any app just not disable--

Not many people are going to buy something that's only "becoming pretty solid." They want polished and usable right now.

Imvho opinion android isn't there either. my biggest complaints with android are the settings, they're scattered all over the place and some don't even tell you what they do. Widgets are decent but don't display nearly the info a live tile does nor do they update info in real time even when they do work. last but not least I hate not being able to delete programs, I don't want to disable them I want them gone. but hey too each his own!

Well, I'm packing it in with Windows Phones.  I've had enough.  I've used Windows phones since Verizon started offering them with the Motorola Q and I'm tired of waiting for them to become a player in the smartphone market.

After all these years, they STILL don't get the apps that android and iphone do.  You never see the Windows phone logo on most of them.  It's clear to me that MS isn't serious about growing in this market, all they do is drag their feet and tell you to upgrade.  Not to mention Verizon doesn't even want to offer upgrades to newer Windows phone OS versions and they seem to carry fewer and fewer WP devices as well.

I just ordered a Galaxy S7 Edge that will be here tomorrow.  Goodbye Windows, I'm off to Android land.

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I keep thinking Microsoft will finally get it right. So I periodically return to Windows Phone, get the latest flagship model, and dive in. If I make it three months I'll call it a success. Hasn't happened yet, but I keep trying. No doubt I'll be purchasing a Surface Phone when they're out, provided Verizon carries them.

my wife doesn't want a android or iPhone, she hates my nexus 6p. We're bailing on Verizon after 6mos. and moving back to ATT who we had for 7yrs. so she can have a 950xl. MS phones just work better with our work and personal computers and my xbox.  iphones don't play nice with windows computers generally--

Groadyho, we don't want you leaving over phone settings, and interface differences. You still deserve the best service. Here's a phone I think you both would like much better. Check it out >> http://vz.to/1RpzlEb    Let us know what you think.
