That has been a minor annoyance, because the texts I receive have no media content once they open, after a delay.

Well I got the replacement sim card tray from HTC, installed it and guess what........

I'm still having the intermittent sending text messages issue.

So I'll say once again before GDR2 never ever ever ever ever had any issues sending text messages. Since GDR2 and GDR3 having the issue.

Can you say software issue????????????

We can't send text messages!  It's pretty simple Verizon support, something is going on with the HTC 8X with texting just breaking.  Do you have a fix?  If not I would like to swap to a different phone type as this is annoying.  Same thing happened with my son's phone last week, now it is mine as well...

Same issue here on 4 lines.  We can't take it anymore!

It's been busted since the GDR2 rollout.

We're sick and tire of having to constantly reboot our phones to text.

I've called in a logged a case with support, but nobody has called back to follow up.

Give me a 928 please, can't stand this phone any more!

He has a point. It's been months.................as in lots of them that we've had to endure this issue.

It's hard to believe that it's taking this long to either fix it or exchange out these phones for ones that will work without having this issue.

That's no good! Is this happening with standard text messaging? Did yours start after the update as well? Also, are you receiving any error messages when sending?

I get Re: Text Messaging Issues Fails with each retry.

Have power-cycled phone, and toggled to airplane mode and back with inconsistent results

Unable to recall whether this happened with latest update.

Frequency of occurrence seems to be less during the past 2 weeks or so

Verizon did update software about a month ago. I did not detect an appreciable difference
