Roaming with the 822 - 3G issues

Has anyone else been roaming with the 822?

I spend a lot of time in Canada - and I'm only getting 1X data.  These are all areas where my Droid 2 Global worked great with 3G.

I do get the 3G connect once in a while, but it only seems to last a few second before it drops back to 1X.

I'm trying to figure out if it's a design issue, or just My phone.

If you have the HTC I'd like to hear about that too (Maybe I'd trade up)

Let's get that 3G service back that you're used to using in Canada! Are you there now? Your post mentioned you spend a lot of time there, so if you are not there now, please contact us when you are located there from a different device and we can assist you. The forums are a good place to ask questions on a peer-to-peer basis, but in this case we would need to do some troubleshooting and find out what's going on. Please give us a call the next time you're located in Canada if/when this happens again.
