Ringtones

New to Nokia Lumia 822.  How do you listen to the ringtones, in order to choose what you want to use?  Nothing in the Nokia manual.pdf.

Just tap on the |> symbol to play the ringtone and then tap the name of the ringtone to select it.

I'm also having trouble hearing back ringtones.,  I am looking for the setting you suggest but don't see it anywhere near the sound I want to hear.

Just to the left of the ringtone name there is a little triangle in a circle - touch that circle to hear the ringtone.  Touch the name of the ringtone to select it.

Testing ringtones by pushing circle worked last week, but today it was hit or miss--mostly miss. The only thing that happened was a message box with option to delete, the ringtone didn't ring.

Also, altho I have sound level at 30/30, I often don,t hear it.

Thanks so much for your quick reply. I was confused when it said to press

the triangle on the right side then when I gently touched the left side --

tada ringtone!!!

Hope you don't mind another question. I am brand new to this phone. When

I want to send a text and after I write it does it automatically send when

you leave that page? I couln't find a send button.

To send a text message, there should this icon towards the bottom, Tap on it and it will send the text message.
