RUMOR! Nokia Ace coming to ATT and Verizon Q1 of 2012

What do you guys think?  If this is true, I hope to see the news at CES in January.  If it does in fact come out Mid-March..that would be perfect for me.  I hope this rumor comes true and it comes to Verizon!

 

The specs is as  leaked earlier – 4.3" screen, 8megapixel camera, 16gb storage, Windows Phone Tango OS , 1.4Ghz CPU, LTE support.

I hope it comes....  But if it has LTE, I want a way to turn it off.  Yes, it would be nice to have the speed, but unless they can do it without draining the battery, I don't want it.  LTE doesn't work on a dead battery.

Either way, I will be watching this phone closely, and if the reviews don't bash the battery life, I'll be getting one even though my contract on Trophy isn't up until next year.

Some more specs (rumor) on the device; Lumia 900 (Ace):

 

  • 16GB and 32GB versions
  • Front Facing camera
  • 4.3" Clear Black Display
  • 125.5 x 65.8 x 9 mm <- Which is thinner than the Lumia 800
  • 8mpx camera with single LED
  • LTE

I am still holding out hope that this is still possible.  With all the recent rumors of Verizon turing down all LTE devices and going with the Nokia 710 (WTF?) it is getting harder to.  Just to make me feel better I sent an email to Mr. Meade to give him my thoughts on the rumors AND the bullsheet 2.00 payment fee.  Little I know, but made me feel a little better!:)  CMON verizon, get the Nokia ACE !!!!!!

I've been with Verizon, before they were called Verizon. I have now changed my billing and they will have to send me a paper bill each month, and then receive and process a check from me each month - that will cost them more. If they do not change their mind on this $2 fee by the date my contract is done, I will switch to another carrier.
