Nokia 928 auto dialing and dropping calls

Just upgraded to a Nokia 928...have had the phone for 4 days now. The phone will occasionally dial the last number dialed. The phone auto dialed 3 times today. Even set the phone on a table to make sure this wasn't something i was doing, and next thing you know it dialed the last number called. The phone also dropped 4 phone calls today for no apparent reason. This is my first smartphone ever...so maybe there is something i am doing wrong? Please help.

First of all, congratulations on your upgrade and going into a smartphone like the Nokia 928. But, I don't want you having any worries or regretting your decision so I'm here to help out.

Now, I have to admit that dialing the last number you called on several occasions is a bit odd and unless it was in your hands then it shouldn't be doing this. Additionally, dropped calls are a no-no around here. Were you indoors during the dropped calls? What's your zip code? For now, please turn off the phone, pull the SIM card for 30 seconds, then reinsert, test, and keep us updated. okay, so i removed the sim card, replaced, and powered on. phone hasn't auto dialed yet, but now it froze up. had to restart phone. Did I get a faulty phone? I really like the windows OS and would like to keep it. Can i get a replacement phone as there is apparently something wrong with this one? The phone is 7 days old and should not have this many issues with a brand new phone.

phone has not auto dialed or disconnected any calls since resetting the phone. phone is freezing up a lot though ever since resetting the phone.

We did tech support with ours and it is still missing calls 😞 . All I want to do is call my husband. His phone gets at least 2 bars so it shouldn't miss calls right?
