Screw you Verizon!
http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/nokia-900-is-real/
This is the kind of phone Ive been dying to have but Verizon continues to screw WP7 and those who love it. This is just absolutely
infuriating. Verizon makes sure they get top of the line Android phones yet dont even try to get a top of the line WP7 phone.
I think Ive about had it. I need to re-examine the ATT service around my area and possibly make the switch.

I am dissapointed too that the 900 is ATT only, but even ATT announced a bunch of high-end LTE Android phones. ATT may be behind in their LTE rollout, but in the end, its staring to look like ATT is more serious about both WP7 and LTE, and in the end, will be the better carrier....so I am switching. Their 3G speeds are already faster, no reason to believe their LTE speeds won't be faster either when it's all said and done.

I too am disappointed with no WP phone announcements from Verizon. I love my Trophy, and convinced my dad to get the HTC Titan on AT&T. He loves it. I tried to get my son to get a Trophy, but he wanted a physical keyboard so he settled on a LG Android phone. Would have been nice to have a Windows Phone with a physical keyboard on VZW.
I have no choice but to wait to see what comes in the future.
AT&T now has at least 6 WP offerings to VZW's 1.

I want to leave VZW so badly but the coverage of at&t in my area is pittiful and leaving for a WP device with crappy coverage isn't worth it Oh the horror VZW, oh the horror.

I am very sad that Verizon is choosing to ignore Windows Phone. I had high hopes for CES but it is a bust... no new Windows Phones from Verizon. Totally bites. Why not? Nice try with the whole "we won't support Windows Phone until they have 4G LTE". Blowing smoke I guess. There are a bunch of 4G phones from a variety of manufactures...any coming to Verizon??? NO! Come on Verizon!!!!! What is the problem?

Okay - here's an updated RUMOR:
According to this, AT&T gets the 900 exclusively for 45 days, and after that, the other carriers can have it too. The question is, if this is actually true, will Verizon step up or continue down their anti-Microsoft path?

I saw that a few days ago, even if it is only exclusive for 45 days, that would be beginning/mid May before Verizon could ask for it, then Nokia has to make it, get it to Verizon to test, then they have to set a release date. You are looking at late summer, maybe even Fall before it would come out. That's just TO FAR away for me to have to wait.

Agreed, at this point might as well as wait for Windows Phone 8 which has new hardware specs like dual-core and HD displays.

I have no plans on waiting. I am jumping ship to ATT for the 900. Even once Windows Phone 8 comes out, it could be months again after that before Verizon would get a phone. I doubt with Verizon's history with the product they won't be a launch partner for Windows Phone 8, that will be ATT. Can you wait until perhaps this time next year for a Verizon Windows Phone? I can't.

I'm not waiting either
Verizon will be loosing two cell phone lines and two land lines when the 900 is available on at&t.
Verizon you have till then to change my mind which I highly doubt you will.
