I'd love to have this phone as an option for Verizon. Put me down for a "will definitely buy at full price" customer.

Naw I want a Verizon Lumia 1020 equivalent! Some rumor pegged a 41 mp lumia for Verizon in October...I think thats just wishful thinking though.

Looks like we might both get our wish.
This looks like a pretty official 1520: http://wmpoweruser.com/verizon-nokia-lumia-1520-leaks/
Verizon: you have my money, the sooner the 1520 gets here the sooner you'll have it!
As for the 1020, there's a few Nokia devices floating through the FCC with Verizon bands, so your 1028 is probably one of them.

AT&T has the 1020... might have to switch... my MPs mean everything to me... I can talk on any phone... But my picture quality means everything

Nope, verizon dropped the ball yet again. 1520 is AT&T, verizon is getting the 929.

Yeah it looks like Verizon is up to its usual trick of taking an awesome hardware design and gutting it until they get a low - mid level device that nobody wants to buy.
It is true that Verizon has the best all-around network of all the US carriers, but their sales/customer service has me to the point of turning hostile. I have been looking at various ways to move my family to another carrier, AT&T would not be my fist choice but I REALLY want the 1520, and with Verizon releasing yet another crippled version of a flagship device because they have some kind of personal issue with Microsoft has me actively looking for ways to cost Verizon more money than they make from me.
Either way it looks like I have to choose between the possible release of the 5" 929, paying around $1000 in termination fees to move the remaining on-contract devices to another provider or trying to manage a gradual move as each contract expires. Time to run the numbers again, maybe AT&T will have a good deal on migrating customers.

Do we know if the lumia 929 is a sure thing?
