Then why complain that the 920 is not coming to Verizon. If it isn't so much a matter of who's phone is better? That device has the best specs right now for windows devices. AT&T is well known for throwing gobs of cash for exclusivity. They probably paid up and then some before this device was built, and probably why they spend the least on their actual network.
I like WP devices, and I like Nokia, but Nokia shouldn't have gone exclusive. There are going to be more people buying them as a lot of people are not willing to switch carriers for a device. Some will, but not enough for it to have a real effect on market share and profit.

You're talking about different things that are Verizon's fault. Yeah they have done a lot of things wrong and I hate them too. They are at fault of how they have a low number of windows phones, but SPECIFICALLY the 920 is not they're fault.
All we can hope is for a variant or the exclusivity to be 30-90 days.

The 820 being exclusive to AT&T doesn't make sense being there was a leaked screenshot of VZW invnetory showing the 822. So either AT&T is blowing smoke up our butts or VZW lost the ability to carry the 822....
Nokia says that the Lumia 820 will be an AT&T exclusive device.

Yes 820 is exclusive to AT&T. 822 is a variant of the 820, but may not even come out. Let's all hope there is also a 922 in the works. PLLEEAASSSEEE.

"All we can hope is for a variant or the exclusivity to be 30-90 days."
No. I was hoping for a choice in 30-90 days more than a year ago. Verizon can kiss my ass. They have no real service or price advantage in the year 2012. As of today, if circumstances force me to buy a new phone, it will NOT be a VerizonWireless phone. And if someone else offers a phone I truly "want", I will be taking advantage of "phone number portability".
I don't know that the Nokia 900 is the phone that will compell me to switch. My last 3 phones have been Samsung, and I've been extremely happy with them. And my current desire is for a Windows phone with a screen larger than 4". Verizon hasn't even pretended to offer me an acceptable option for nearly 1 1/2 years. Flexibility and compromise would be easier than changing my service provider, if they merely offered a choice that is acceptable. For more than a year they have decided not to do that. And frankly, attitude is starting to set in. If they really don't want to give me what I want (a major and 1st tier phone O.S. no matter what anyone claims), there will come a time when I have to choose a more responsive provider. There are other choices. And some are starting to look preferable.
You can debate a single model or series of cell phone incarnation if you wish. Verizon's rejection of you is SOOOOO much bigger than what is being discussed here, it makes your concerns appear petty minutia.

Oh my God dude I'm talking about the PHONE ITSELF. THE 920. NOT OTHER PHONES OR HOW VERIZON HAS DELAYED ON OTHER WINDOWS PHONES. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT THAT SPECIFICALLY THE 920 IS NOT ON THEIR NETWORK.

Yea, I'm on the TP2 as well (thanks to a friend giving me his.) I'm waiting on a good Windows Phone and will NOT have a problem changing carriers if Verizon continues to ignore us customers. (And I've recently found out that in my area, VZW actually has the worst coverage.)
