hey people my HTC Touch Pro XV6850 screen  went black and wont go back to the original and i dont have a warranty on  it because i'm trying to activate the phone for my daughter  cause her birthday is coming up help me please

Sounds like the screen went dead.  You can try to see if there is used one on ebay/amazon/vzw

I know this must be an inconvenience but let's see what's going on with the screen. Has this device been active recently? Please make sure you fully charge the device and attempt to turn it on. I also recommend to remove/reinsert the battery and retest.
