Give Us Windows Phone 7 Users A Reasonable Early Termination Fee To Leave!!!

Verizon,

Give unhappy Windows Phone 7 users an option to terminate our accounts early!!!

AT&T has a program that they allow unhappy users a chance to terminate there accounts early for a fee.

I believe they charge $35, maybe more... But they at least stand behind there products.

To lock us all in for 2 years and not support this device as much as you do the Droid or iPhone is unacceptable.

So what I am proposing is create a way for us unhappy Windows Phone 7 users an opportunity to leave and go somewhere else.

Since you remain silent on the subject of Windows Phone 7 devices and any/all future releases, I'm asking that you give us all unsatisified, unhappy paying customers the opportunity to leave.  Just like a divorce in marriage.

I'm unhappy with the way Windows Phone 7 has been treated by the Verizon network, and want to leave!!!

Let me pay a REASONABLE early termination fee to leave, since Verizon (on your end) haven't lived up to your side of this marriage!!!

Do you really want the ETF to be handled like a divorce?

What divorce do you know of that a person leaves without paying major...  Like the old song goes "Its Cheaper to Keep Her" because when you get a devorce they usually get half of all you own.

Real bad comparision...

Verizon won't waive ETFs. Just pay the ETF then sell the device on ebay. Verizon customers would be smart to buy off-contract only (no more one year contracts @ VZW) since their devices lag months if not years behind the rest of the world and their coverage is not improving making their "network" strength moot.

Worst phones, slowest "3G network", most 4G/LTE network outages, yawn.

why just the windows phone users? why not every unhappy customer? you realize that there are A LOT more unhappy iphone and android users right? heck....why not just tear up all of their contracts? oh yeah.....because they are CONTRACTS. customers have an opportunity to return a device that they don't like and get out of the contract. what is different today, than the day you got your device and signed the contract?

I think you misunderstood my post, I know they wont and I would not expect this...  I have a Android device and am happy with Verizon, I do not intend to sale any of my products.

I'd rather have deal with the ETF than to go through anything remotely like a divorce to get out of my cell phone contract.  ETFs may stink but they are quick, clean and easy....

Contracts are contracts and it costs to get out of them...no way around that.

Not quite. Their Rezound was the first phone on the US market to offer Beats Audio (which is an awesome addition) and their Razr was often held as the most impressive phone on the market until the Maxx. Considering that Verizon Wireless was the first to put up a 4G LTE and, of course, would be the only one to experience hiccups in the service. It doesn't stop the fact that it was completely irritating and caused me to pull at my stubble, but it is unreasonable to use this against them as they were, for all practical purposes, pioneers in the 4G LTE services.

The fact of the matter is... and remains... that Big Red is giving Windows Phone the cold shoulder... Verizon and Microsoft can't seem to put the past behind them and move on with new products.

I for one would love to see more Windows Phone devices on Big Red's lineup. I am not at an anger level to want a "divorce", since the only Verizon Windows Phone - HTC Trophy - IS AWESOME... But come upgrade time, I might have to go elsewhere for new Windows Phone devices (chances are it will be cheaper too!

Again going back to the original post... Verizon Windows Phone users are getting jipped. They are paying the most expensive service rates for the most expensive network, to a company that offers ONE Windows Phone device out of pity - I suppose. The original poster has valid reason to be unhappy.
