I tried to open an account today and they said I have to wait 72 hours because I am under a fraud hold. What a joke. My credit is over 750 with no fraud activity ever. I guess they don't need new customers huh? What take 72 hours to verify a credit card, name, address and ss#?

Many customers have issues with the fraud team, they need to re-vamp that department.
A general rule I follow is that if I am unhappy with a company before I even have the service with that company, I will not use that company.

I agree with you and usually would not use the company either but unfortunately Verizon has the best coverage in my area so my hands are tied.

I wish I could relate but Verizon has been amazing to me.
I guess you are just going to have to push through it.......
The Fraud department it questionable at best with how they determine fraud as well as the policies backing them.
